The large LCD screen makes reading easy, with three color indicators: green for normal, yellow for a slight fever, and red for a high fever. The measurement unit can be selected in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the user can choose a sound alert or silent mode. To save energy, the thermometer automatically turns off after a period of inactivity.
