Medelert features 6 auditory alarms and one visual alarm on the lid, which can last up to 30 minutes continuously. The programming is simple and allows scheduling 1 week with 4 intakes per day, 2 weeks with 2 intakes per day, or 28 days for a single daily intake. It operates with 4 AA batteries provided. Its large diameter is 19 cm.
